Geeta Bose

 

 

Geeta Bose
CEO, Heads Instructional Strategies and Solutions

Geeta has over 10 years of experience in the writing and learning domain. She has worked as a journalist with The Asian Age, The Hindustan Times, and Business Today and as a language expert with NIIT and Wipro. As an instructional designer, Geeta has developed content for many leading eLearning companies in India. She has worked on diverse projects ranging from writing books on business writing to developing CBTs on project management, Six Sigma, and insurance sales process.

She co-founded Kern in 2004 and manages Kern's eLearning operation. Geeta's strengths lie in conceptualizing effective learning strategies for content across diverse domains.

Geeta has authored an undergraduate level English text book "Composition," published by ATI Technical University, USA. Geeta has masters' degrees in journalism and business administration.

Rashmi Varma

 

Rashmi Varma
COO, Heads Strategic Planning and Processes

Rashmi has more than six years of professional experience. Rashmi brings her expertise in operations, finance, sales, and marketing to Kern Communications. Before co-founding Kern Communications, Rashmi worked for four years in a management position at NIIT. Rashmi also headed operations of two of NIIT's biggest training centers. At NIIT, Rashmi designed and implemented a new revenue accounting model. She also worked on a cost rationalization project to identify potential areas for cost optimization. Rashmi's analytical and critical thinking skills provide key process guidance to all our projects.

Rashmi heads the business development function at Kern. Rashmi's strength is her customer focus that helps her immediately identify and define client requirements and create a winning proposition for them.

Rashmi is a management graduate from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. She is a Yellow Belt in Six Sigma and has led two key Six Sigma projects.

Ripul Kumar

Ripul Kumar
Heads Ethnographic Research, Innovation, and Usability Consulting

Ripul has over 15 years of experience managing cross-cultural ethnographic research, innovation, usability, visual design, and software development teams.

Ripul spearheaded usability engineering for the development of acclaimed software products at Pramati, maker's of world's first J2EE server and development studio.

Ripul consults with Google, Nokia, Samsung, Dell, Finnair, American Express Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, ICICI Bank, Vodafone, Research in Motion (Blackberry), etc for user research, innovation, and usability consulting in India.

Ripul co-founded Kern in 2004 and manages Kern's research and innnovation practice. Ripul studies Industrial Designer at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad.

Ripul teaches user research & usability at NID as a visiting faculty and wishes to move full time to academia in a few years time. He also teaches usability to undergrad students at Aurora Engineering Institute, Hyderabad.
